As a full-service service agency of 40+ we have dedicated teams in Strategy, Creative, Video, UX, Development, Social Media and SEO working across our 4 office locations. We currently work predominantly in Retail, Charity, Consumer Healthcare, Education and B2B with over 40 brands that include Superdrug, YMCA, Just Eat, Wash & Go, WWF, Save The Children.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a spectacular Paid Manager to join us to run paid social media advertising campaigns for our clients. You’ll work with our digital marketing and creative teams to formulate, set-up, monitor and evaluate the advertising campaigns for a range of brands to enable them to increase brand awareness and gain customers and sales. You’ll also get involved in a variety of other tasks involved in the delivery of social media support for our clients.

The Paid Media Manager is responsible for planning and managing paid social tactics for assigned clients. The primary function of the role is to have a deep understanding of client goals, monitor campaign quality, and consistently and proactively evaluate new opportunities to maximise performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing test and learn hypotheses/campaign activity in relation to paid activity

  • Voice of paid within the agency and seen as the go-to expert for all things paid

  • Collate, analyse and create reports of performance for paid activity, and provide actionable recommendations for next steps/future activity

  • Seeks out new paid product offerings, vets and implements as appropriate

  • Support and collaborate with the social media team on their activity where needed

  • Planning, designing, setting-up, testing and monitoring ad campaigns on multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

  • Involvement with agency marketing initiatives

  • Researching, planning, setting-up, monitoring and scaling-up Google ad campaigns including search, YouTube ads and Google shopping

  • Analysing, evaluating and reporting on the success of ad campaigns

  • Keeping up to date with trends and changes in digital marketing and formulating new ideas

  • Communicating with clients to keep them updated about plans, progress and results

  • Having the commercial success of our clients at the forefront of every action you undertake

Desirable Skills

  • Understands the relationship between paid, owned, and earned social media tactics

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms

  • Understanding of analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and Adobe SiteCatalyst)

  • Has solid knowledge of the brands, category, channels & processes

  • Maintains understanding of new and evolving product offerings

  • Monitors the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services

  • Familiarity of monitoring campaign financials, budgets

  • Experience in running social media campaigns and using Facebook ads manager for commercial entities

  • Experience of running Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns

  • At least one Google ads certification ideally in Search or Video. (If you already have the relevant skills, certification can be obtained from Google Skillshop to support your application.)

  • Analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to contextualise and present data clearly
