A longstanding relationship
We've worked alongside Which?'s internal teams and partners since 2012. Together we have co-created a number of exciting new products, and replaced and developed a number of their existing applications.
The challenge
Throughout our time with Which? we have collaborated with a wide range of internal departments, consultants and data sources to deliver software and product delivery management via extremely rapid and agile ways of working. These methodologies were needed to build and maintain the Which? “Join” platform, a system for replacing all online signup, login and self-service management of users across the entire Which? platform.

The solution
Our team worked closely with the client to take over a considerable technical headache.
The site housed a huge amount of data spanning multiple academic years, which included information about courses, postgraduate outcomes, subject guides, student life, student living costs, student feedback, living cost calculators and entry requirements.
To complicate matters further, the source formats of the data varied widely.
Undaunted, our intrepid team got stuck in and the incredible result they achieved were recognised at the prestigious national PPA Awards, when the new University Guide was named Best Digital Information Product.
The experience
We have integrated “Join” into other platforms we have built for Which?, providing a seamless join between Identity Management (including single-sign-on), and self-service account management. This application has been carefully designed to scale into a complete “accounts” platform, to be capable of replacing all online signup, login and self-service management of users.
All Which? products, whether built by us or internal/other parties (regardless of technology) can utilise the tools we’ve built to add membership, purchase, authentication and account management to their products.
